Sydney is very famous for it's exciting and varied nightlife. There is something to suit every taste, age group and every budget. It ranges from discos and karaoke bars to symphony concerts and mainstream theatre.

While the Sydney Opera House stages world class opera, ballet and theatre productions, the George Street boasts of the Sydney Entertainment Centre, magnificently restored Capitol Theatre and Her Majesty's Theatre. To sample some good Jazz one must visit the Soup Plus, The Basement or Harbourside Brasserie.

Shake a leg at the Cauldron, Retro or DCM. For those into rock music there is the Woolloomooloo Bay Hotel. Enjoy a good comedy at the Kaos which is Sydney's most popular comedy restaurant. The very famous King's Cross area offers late night entertainment in bars, discos and cabarets. And if lady luck is with you visit the casino at Star City.

Lastly and most importantly one can indulge in a night cruise of the harbour with dinner and live shows on board.

Other small theatres and Nightclubs provide entertaining performances including comedies and cabarets; and live bands perform at many of Sydney's pubs.
