Sydney is the capital of the state of New South Wales and
Australia's largest and probably best known city. It rests majestically on the
shores of a beautiful natural harbour with scores of sparkling beaches within
easy reach of its cosmopolitan heart. With a climate that never really gets
cold, life in Sydney is spent outdoors, walking, sightseeing and relaxing in
delightful cafes and restaurants, overlooking glistening blue waters.
Sydney offers all that you would expect from a great cosmopolitan city bursting

Sydney houses many world renowned landmarks.The Opera House overlooks the
Sydney Harbour. Another landmark, the vibrant Darling Harbour, formerly a
dockland area, is a complex of shops, restaurants and parks encompassing a
Chinese Garden and the Sydney Aquarium. The historic harbour side Rocks Area
hasS elegantly restored buildings offering a wide variety of restaurants,
entertainment venues and specialty shops. The other leading attractions include
the Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Tower.
Sydney represents high quality international dining in it's essence. Being a
large melting pot for innumerable cultures Sydney offers multiple dining
options. While Asian cuisine is one of the most popular cuisines; reflecting
rich mix of cultures from Thailand, Vietnam, Japan, India and Korea; Chinese
food is equally relished. The local fresh produce, which is a delicacy for
visitors, include the exotic sea food, particularly Shellfish and the Sydney
Rock Oysters, fresh fruits and vegetables and the local beef and lamb dishes.
Wines such as dry white from Semillon and reds from Shiraz grapes comes from
world famous wineries of Hunter Valley Wine Country, which lies North of
Australia. While specialty restaurants and fine international dining options
are available, Sydney also offers fast food joints, cafés and pubs. City
Precincts like The Rocks, Chinatown, Circular Quay, Darlinghurst and King's
Cross offer Sydney's best eating.
